Immigration Gone Astray

I am currently a student at Fordham University graduating in May. I moved to the US on a G1 visa with my parents in 1996. On this G1 visa I am able to stay in the US until the age of 23 and work if I am in full time education. Thanks to this I have been here for 12 years and I am just like anyone else out there trying to get a job. My solutions so far are to switch to an F1 Student Visa and then get a 1 year training period and after that my only chance to stay here is get sponsored for a H1b Visa. So far on my job search I went on 12 first round interviews being offered 3 different offers and not one of these companies is willing to sponsor me so I am now back to square one.
